We believe to be effective, the Church must maintain an historical perspective and a global vision.
HopeCorp -
Hope Community aggressively reaches out to the nations of the world as an Embassy of Hope. In recent years HopeCorp has ministered in Eastern Europe, Africa, and several Latin American countries.
Hope Community has networked with Operation Dignity to Minister in Iquitos, Peru. There, HopeCorp provided dental care, fed thousands of people, provided housing through Habitat for Humanity International, and supplied a well of clean, running water.
In 2001 Bishop Lanier traveled to El Salvador for a special time of Ministry. A Covenant relationship formed between Bishop Lanier and Bishop Juan Martinez, the senior pastor of Campamento de Dios. Since that time, Hope Community has sent relief to El Salvador during the time of devastating earthquakes and floods, and ministered by sending several dental teams to heal the people of the nation. Bishop Martinez has ministered at Hope Community as well. These two congregations share a special relationship that crosses international borders.
HopeCorp also understands the importance of reaching the mission field that’s in our own backyard. Each year we host a health fair that offers free screenings for hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels, HIV, and more. We also perform free mammograms and offer free dental care.
HopeCorp also participates in smaller, yet significant, moments called Mission Moments, which are opportunities for Hope Community to reach outside our walls and help those in need through financial outreach. Some of our most recent Mission Moments include:
• Providing relief for Haitian earthquake victims throughout International Communion of Charismatic Churches
• Donating to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to return homeless Jews to Israel
• Helping purchase a tractor for an orphanage in Latin America
• Advancing the work of the Gideons International
• Funding a portion of a campaign to rebuild a church in Africa that was destroyed by a volcano
• Collecting school supplies for local low income students
• Creating and distributing personal care packages for 150 homeless men in our community
• Contributing to the Kathy Isaacs Scholarship Fund at Lee University
